From Concept to Candle
At MO moment, every candle begins with a form.
I design each piece in my Brooklyn studio, starting from a digital 3D model.
01 — Design
Each shape is developed in-house through 3D modeling.
I carefully work with proportions, curves, balance, and silhouette before moving into production.
Every form is original and created exclusively for MO moment.
02 — Prototype
Once the digital model is complete, I produce physical prototypes using 3D printing.
This stage allows me to refine details, surface transitions, and structural integrity.
Only after testing and adjustments does a form move forward.
03 — Mold Making
All molds are produced in-house in small batches.
This gives me full control over precision and consistency.
Independent mold-making is a fundamental part of the brand — it allows creative freedom and complete ownership of form.
04 — Pouring & Finishing
Each candle is hand-poured in small batches using carefully selected wax blends.
I work primarily with soy and beeswax, focusing on:
– clean burn
– refined surface
– sculptural quality
Every piece is trimmed, inspected, and finished by hand.
MO moment is not mass production.
It is a studio practice centered around form, material, and light.
Each candle carries the trace of process — from digital concept to physical object.
